CX80 BONDICX GEL is a universal cyanoacrylate adhesive in the form of a high-viscosity gel, designed for quick and very strong bonding of many materials: metal, most plastics, rubber, leather, wood, paper and technical fabrics. Thanks to its thixotropic consistency, it does not run off vertical and porous surfaces, which facilitates precise application even in difficult places.
The gel form allows it to fill micro-gaps and minor imperfections in the fit, while reducing soaking into absorbent substrates, which improves the strength of the bond. The setting time is usually between approx. 3 and 35 seconds (depending on the material), and the adhesive reaches its full strength after approx. 24 hours. The working range is typically between approx. -50°C and +80°C, with a shear strength on steel of approx. 20–22 N/mm².
