RC48 CX80 is a green, high-strength anaerobic adhesive for mounting bearings, rings and gears on shafts and in sockets. It is designed for permanent fixing of cylindrical parts where a very strong bond resistant to high loads and temperatures is required.

The product cures when air is cut off between metal surfaces, filling micro-gaps and preventing rotation and loosening even under strong vibrations. The typical operating range of such adhesives is approximately -50°C to +180°C, which allows them to be used in engines, gearboxes, pumps and other machines operating in harsh conditions.

The most important applications of RC48:

mounting bearings, rings, gears, rotors on shafts,
setting bushings and press-fit components where we want to increase the load-bearing capacity of the connection,
additional sealing of cylindrical fits against the ingress of oil and other media.

RC48 is chosen where the connection is to be virtually inseparable under normal service conditions and where very high resistance to dynamic loads and temperature is required.
