90° HSS TiN countersink for conical screws
The BMMTOOLS 1811 series comprises 3-flute HSS conical countersinks with a TiN coating. The tool has a cylindrical shank, a 90° cutting angle and a design compliant with DIN 335.
After drilling a pilot hole, the countersink creates a conical recess at the entrance to the hole. The 90° angle is suitable for conical heads with the same angle, including DIN 7991 screws. The three cutting edges enable machining of the conical surface and deburring of the hole edges.
The TiN coating distinguishes this series from the HSS versions without a coating designation. When selecting a product, check the required countersink diameter, the fastener head angle and the shank size required by the tool holder.

Application

Tip: drill a pilot hole before countersinking. Guide the countersink along the centre line of the hole and increase the depth gradually until the head is seated correctly.
