The PRO Milestone retractable tape measure is a range of measuring tools available in 3 m, 5 m and 8 m variants, each with a 16 mm wide tape. The tape’s high rigidity ensures a long reach without support — over 50 per cent of the tape measure’s total length — making it easier to take measurements independently when the tape is not resting on a surface.
The tape on all models is double-sided, with Class II accuracy markings, and coated with a protective nylon layer to increase resistance to scratches and rust. All models are fitted with a precision reverse brake that automatically locks the tape as it is extended — meaning you do not need to hold the button down manually whilst taking a measurement.
The ergonomic case has bevelled edges and is made of plastic with a rubberised finish, ensuring a good grip and impact resistance. The design includes a ribbed side insert to prevent the tape measure from slipping out of your hand, as well as an additional finger recess to facilitate one-handed extension of the tape. The release button has a recess ensuring full control over the retraction. The tape measure also features a buffer to absorb the impact of the tape as it retracts, and a durable metal belt clip.
The shorter 3-metre version is ideal for everyday fitting work, the 5-metre model is a versatile solution for construction and renovation, whilst the 8-metre version is designed for measuring larger rooms and structures where a longer reach is required.

Tips for use: use the finger groove to comfortably extend the tape with one hand whilst working. Remember that the reverse brake locks the tape automatically once it has been extended — to release it, use the recessed button to control the retraction speed.
