Folding ABS PRO tape measure

The PRO folding tape measure from the B3 series is available in 1 m and 2 m versions, made from a special, wear-resistant ABS plastic. It offers an alternative to traditional wooden rulers — the flexible and resilient material allows for measurements along arcs and circles, which is not possible with rigid beechwood rulers.
The tape measure has a double-sided millimetre scale, and its face is 15 mm wide. The scale is manufactured to Class III accuracy (tolerance approx. ±1.0 mm for the 1 m version and ±1.4 mm for the 2 m version). The plastic joints are integrated into the tape’s profile, allowing a continuous line to be drawn without any breaks when passing through the joint.
The tape measure allows a 90° angle to be marked by locking the arm in place, which makes it easier to check the perpendicularity of components during assembly. The ABS construction is water- and UV-resistant, ensuring the tool retains its properties even when used in varying weather conditions.
The 1 m version is compact and easy to carry, whilst the 2 m version is a standard length suitable for most everyday measuring tasks, particularly where flexibility is required when measuring curved surfaces.

Tips for use: make the most of the flexibility of ABS when measuring curved objects, such as pipes or round parts, by gently wrapping the tape measure around the surface. To mark out a right angle, use the arm lock — this is quicker than using a separate protractor.
