CX80 Copper Grease is a high-temperature, anti-seize grease with copper additive, designed mainly for threaded connections and components operating in extreme thermal and corrosive conditions. It is used as a protective assembly layer, rather than a typical grease for high-speed bearings.

Type: anti-seize grease/paste with copper particles for very high temperatures.

Operating temperature range: from approx. -30°C to +1200°C (the protective film remains even after the carrier has been carbonised).

Function: facilitates assembly and subsequent disassembly, protects against seizing, corrosion and friction welding.

Very high thermal resistance – for exhaust areas, brakes, thermally welded components.

Anti-seizing properties: prevents threads, pins, bushings, bolts and nuts from seizing, even after repeated heating and cooling cycles.

Corrosion protection and good electrical conductivity – can be used on contacts and terminals where conductivity is required.

Form and application

Available in paste form (tubes/containers) and spray form – paste for precision threads, spray for hard-to-reach areas.

Apply a thin layer to clean surfaces; excess is not recommended, especially in brake systems.
When to use CX80 copper grease

When easy disassembly after high-temperature operation is crucial (exhaust bolts, brakes, manifolds).

When ordinary lithium or machine grease burns out quickly or does not protect against seizing.
If you specify a particular application (e.g. wheel bolts, brake guides, manifold bolts, machine connections), we can determine whether copper grease is the best choice or whether, for example, ceramic or metal-free high-temperature grease would be better.
