CX80 graphite grease isa professional anti-seize greasebased on lithium-calcium soaps with the addition of approx. 15% micronised graphite, designed for general lubrication of heavily loaded components exposed to atmospheric conditions. It provides high water resistance, very good corrosion protection and an effective barrier against wear under high pressures and in difficult operating conditions.
The product forms a well-adhering lubricating film that retains its properties in a wide temperature range from approximately-30°C to +600°C, giving surfaces the characteristics of "dry lubrication" with graphite at high temperatures. Thanks to its high electrical conductivity, it can also be used in selected electrical installation components (e.g. terminals), unless otherwise specifiedby the manufacturer.
The most important applications of CX80 graphite grease:

General lubricationof components exposed to rain, mud, dust and variable temperatures (hinges, pins, joints, cables).

Open gearboxes, guides, slides, chains operating in furnaces ("dry" lubrication).

Pantographs of railway and tram rolling stock, construction and agricultural machinery, road and transport equipment.
The product does not contain lead or other heavy metals, has good mechanical stability and can be mixed with most soap-based lubricants, which facilitates its use in service. However, it is not recommended forhigh-speed rolling bearings, where a smooth structure without hard solid particles is required.
