The 3 mm diameter HM MINI rotary files of the 2020 series are made entirely from high-quality cemented carbide, which ensures very highdurabilityand operational stability even under intensive use. The monolithic construction and PLUS-type tooth profile enable efficient machining of a wide range of materials of varying hardness, such as structural steels, alloys, cast iron and plastics. With a working diameter of 3 mm and a 3 mm shank, these tools are ideally suited for use with pneumatic and electric grinders in hard-to-reach areas and for finishing small components.
Files in this series are available in various head shapes (including SPG, WRC, RBF, KEL, TRE), allowing you to select the appropriate profile for a specific task – from aggressive material removal toprecisefinishing of edges and radii. The special PLUS multi-edged tooth profile ensures rapid cutting whilst minimising vibration and overheating of the workpiece surface, resulting in a better finish and a longer tool life. The files are also available in versions with a high-temperature coating rated to 1100˚C, which further increases wear resistance when working in demanding conditions.
