The PRO PR-60-06 folding tape measure is a range of exceptionally high-precision measuring tools, available in 3 m x 16 mm, 5 m x 25 mm and 8 m x 25 mm variants. All models feature a Class I accuracy scale, which means a tolerance of approximately ±0.1 mm per metre — a significantly more precise result than the commonly used Class II (±0.3 mm/m). This is the ideal solution for those for whom measurement accuracy is of paramount importance.
The casing is made of rubber-coated stainless steel, ensuring durability and better shock absorption in the event of accidental drops. The tape body is non-slip, ensuring the tool sits securely in the hand even during intensive use. The tape is coated with a protective nylon layer, increasing resistance to scratches and rust, and its scale features clear, double-sided printing.
The movable, reinforced hook is 20 per cent thicker than on standard models, which increases its durability — in the 5 m and 8 m versions it is secured with three rivets, and in the 3 m version with two rivets. The strong, non-slip classic brake allows the tape to be stopped precisely in the desired position, without the risk of it retracting on its own.
The shorter 3-metre version is ideal for precise assembly measurements, whilst the 5-metre and 8-metre models with a reinforced 25 mm tape are suitable for tasks requiring both a longer reach and the highest accuracy — for example, in finishing work, furniture making or when assembling components with strict tolerance requirements.
