The PRO PR-63-03 measuring tape, 20 m in length, is made of high-quality fibreglass, coated with a polymer layer to increase its durability. This tool is designed for measuring longer distances in construction, fieldwork and surveying applications, where a standard tape measure would be insufficient.
The 13 mm wide tape features a scale with Class III accuracy, in accordance with the European MID (Measuring Instruments Directive), which sets out the requirements for measuring instruments used professionally. The tool is fitted with a modern mechanism offering three retraction speeds, which significantly reduces the time needed to retract the long tape after a measurement has been completed — the mechanism’s handle retracts into the casing, so it does not get in the way during storage.
The durable, screw-fastened casing is made of plastic, and the end of the tape is fitted with a metal measuring hook, making it easier to maintain a stable reference point when the tape is being unrolled by a single person. For fieldwork where the starting point to be measured needs to be hooked onto, for example, a rod or peg, this hook makes it much easier to take measurements independently.
The tape is ideal for determining distances between foundations, measuring plots of land, earthworks and wherever a longer measuring range is required than that offered by standard 5–10 m retractable tapes.

Usage tips: before measuring, check that the hook at the end of the tape is securely fastened to the reference point. After use, rewind the tape using the crank at a moderate speed to avoid it kinking or becoming damaged if it is pulled back into the casing too quickly.
