The PRO PR-63-02 tape measure is a retractable surveying tool available in 30 m and 50 m variants, with a tape made from high-quality carbon steel. The tape face is coated with a layer of acrylic polymer and undergoes a special treatment that eliminates the risk of corrosion, rust and cracking — ensuring the tape remains durable even with regular use in challenging field conditions.
The 13 mm wide tape features a scale with Class II accuracy, in accordance with the European MID directive. The start of the scale is set 10 cm from the edge, and the steel positioning tip, which can be slid in and out, facilitates precise setting of the reference point during measurement.
The highly durable casing is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic, whilst the cassette, covered with non-slip rubber, ensures a secure grip. The retraction mechanism operates six times faster than on standard tapes, which significantly reduces the retraction time once the measurement is complete — an important feature for the longer, 50-metre version. Inside the cassette, durable rubber guide rollers are fitted to guide the tape face and protect it from damage during retraction, whilst the drum design is engineered to prevent the tape face from becoming distorted. The functional tape clip is fitted with a non-slip element.
The 30-metre version is suitable for most field and construction measurements, whilst the 50-metre version is intended for the longest distances, where both range and speed of operation are crucial.

Usage tips: please note that the start of the scale is 10 cm from the edge of the tip — bear this in mind when reading the measurement. Reel in the tape evenly using the fast-rewind mechanism, but avoid sudden jerks, which may damage the rubber guide rollers.
