The PRO PR-64-02 measuring tape is a retractable measuring tool available in 30 m and 50 m variants, made from high-quality fibreglass with low elongation. It is designed for precise measurements of long distances in construction and surveying work, as well as for marking out sites and plots.
The 15 mm wide tape has clear markings in accuracy class II, in accordance with the European MID Directive — a higher accuracy class than that of standard Class III surveying tapes, which results in a smaller measurement error over long distances. The wider tape, compared to the 13-millimetre models, makes it easier to read the scale clearly even from a greater distance.
The tool is fitted with a modern mechanism offering three-speed tape retraction, which significantly reduces the time needed to retract a long section once the measurement is complete. This feature is particularly noticeable in the 50-metre version, where a conventional mechanism would require far more turns of the crank.
The 30-metre version is suitable for most field and construction measurements, whilst the 50-metre version is designed for the longest distances — for example, when marking out plot boundaries, measuring large areas or carrying out surveying work requiring maximum range.

Tips for use: when measuring longer distances, rest the tape against the ground to minimise sagging and improve the accuracy of the result. Reel in the tape with a steady motion of the crank, using the quick-rewind mechanism, but without jerking it excessively.
