The PRO PR-64-01 measuring tape is a retractable surveying tool available in 30 m and 50 m versions, with a tape made from high-quality carbon steel. The tape face is coated with a layer of special nylon, which offers maximum resistance to rust and various types of acids — a feature particularly useful in field and industrial work, where the tape may come into contact with chemically aggressive environments.
The 13 mm wide tape has a Class II accuracy scale, compliant with the European MID directive. The highly durable casing is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic, and the handle of the retraction mechanism retracts into the casing, making it easier to store and transport the tool without the risk of the crank accidentally snagging.
The casing design ensures stability during use, whilst the chemical-resistant coating on the tape face extends the tape’s service life compared to models with a conventional polymer coating, particularly in conditions of high humidity or when exposed to chemicals on a construction site.
The 30-metre version is suitable for most field measurements, whilst the 50-metre version is designed for the longest distances, where both range and the tape’s resistance to harsh working conditions are crucial.

Usage tips: despite the chemical resistance of the coating, after use in contact with corrosive substances, it is advisable to wipe the tape with a dry cloth before rolling it up. Fold the retractable handle neatly into the casing so that it does not hinder storage of the tool.
